Water contaminated fuel

Fuel contaminated with water, whether it is unleaded petrol or diesel, can be a significant situation to address in a vehicle - particularly in present-day common-rail engines. Having water in fuel can bring about idling issues, uneven running, excessive smoke and, if it's not sorted out fully, quite possibly broken injectors. Having water in petrol is easier to drain than water in diesel - this is largely because diesel is an oil. However we can resolve both cases very quickly.

Take note though that so long as the vehicle has been started with the water contaminated fuel it will likely require a new fuel filter to be installed seeing as the previous one will be wholly wet and useless.

Provided that the boat is either on land, or parked near enough to parking bay we will be able to gain access to the fuel storage and drain out the fuel. We have performed numerous fuel drains at marinas and boatyards across the country.}

Wrong Fuel in Car Summerstown, Wandsworth

Wrong Fuel in Car Summerstown - Summerstown Wrong Fuel

I'd had a fantastic evening cycling during my day off and felt delighted with myself the following morning as I set off to aid a young couple on vacation in Summerstown. They pulled over after inserting the wrong fuel in their Smart, and the car was about half an hour's travel away. I arrived at their location and smiled to myself while I listened to the gal telling her husband off for actually being so confused. "Precisely how could you conceivably manage to fill up using the wrong fuel?" she demanded of him. I attempted to explain that this kind of thing comes to pass on a regular basis in Wandsworth and that it's nothing to be anxious about, but he still got his ear bent. Poor lad. Anyway, I drained the polluted fuel, gave the fuel system a flush and filled it up with the proper fuel. Watching them drive away I waved so long and wondered what my missus would do to me if ever I made the same mistake... I would personally under no circumstances live it down!
